Consumers are also reducing sugar from their diets and are actively looking out for healthier alternatives. These expectations have revolutionised the food and beverage industry as consumers become increasingly well-informed and want to know what is in their food.
We spoke to 300 consumers across the Middle East and Turkey to understand their attitudes towards sugar and how this affects their purchasing decisions.
