Our NutriVie™ range addresses the needs of all life stages including growth and development as well as the prevention and management of chronic disease.

Our range of concentrated nutritional oil powders and dairy bases are designed to meet specific dietary, nutritional and regulatory requirements – and can be fully customised by lipid source, nutritional specification, labelling and functionality. The fatty acid profiles of NutriVie™ Nutritional Lipids and Nutritional Bases can be tailored as required, and are in accordance with the Codex Infant Formula and International standards.

The NutriVie range contains no hydrogenated oils. All products are highly stable lipid powders with consistent fat and fatty acid content.

Nutrivie™ Omega 153

Nutrivie™ Omega 153 contains 55% vegetable oil, providing a concentrated fat source. It has a 1:5 omega 3: omega 6 ratio and contains 3% linolenic acid.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • ideal omega 3: omega 6 ratio (1:5)
  • source of the essential fatty acid linolenic acid, used by the body to synthesis omega 3.
  • low in saturates (<5%)
  • low in sodium (<30mg)
  • no detectable lactose

Applications:

NutriVie™ MCT

Nutrivie™ MCT has a minimum of 68% Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) Oil. This is typically composed of Capric acid and Caprylic acid. Medium chain triglycerides bypass the usual route taken by fats in the body to produce energy.

Medium chain free fatty acids are quickly digested, then absorbed and transported to the liver by blood. Medium chain fatty acids are readily oxidised in liver for energy and is not stored as fat.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • MCTs are used for the management of a number of conditions, including digestive disorders, overweight and obesity, due to their unique attributes including:
    • improved digestibility
    • greater rate of oxidation, thus providing greater energy release and are not stored as fat
  • no detectable lactose
  • trans fat < 1%

Applications:

NutriVie™ LP100 and LP100 OPO

NutriVie™ LP100 contains a 50% vegetable oil blend. NutriVie LP100 OPO, which contains 50% human milk fat replacer (OPO), is designed to mimic the fat profile found in human breast milk.

The fat profile in some infant formulas can be a cause of digestive discomfort. Recent studies suggest that there are a number of benefits associated with an advanced fat profile including improved digestibility, greater efficiency of fat absorption, reduced constipation in infants and enhanced calcium absorption.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • low trans fat
  • improved calcium absorption
  • ideal omega 3: omega 6 ratio of between 8—12:1

LP100 OPO is:

  • closer to the composition of human breast milk
  • improved digestibility and tolerance
  • softer stools, meaning reduced constipation for infants

Applications:

NutriVie™ 43H

Nutrivie™ 43H contains 50% vegetable oil, providing a concentrated fat source, from sunflower, coconut and soy oil. It has a 1:>7.5 omega 3: omega 6 ratio and contains 8.8% linoleic acid and 1% linolenic acid.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • source of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid
  • high MUFA content
  • helps support heart health
  • may also help lower LDL-C when replacing SFA and trans fat

Applications:

Nutrvie™ Canola 40

Nutrvie™ Canola 40 contains 40% vegetable oil, providing a concentrated fat source, from rapeseed oil. It contains 26% oleic acid and 3—5% linolenic acid.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • source of the essential fatty acid linolenic and linoleic acid
  • high MUFA content at 26%
  • canola oil holds a USFDA qualified health claim for heart disease risk reduction
  • helps support heart health by lowering LDL-C when used to replace SFA and trans fat
  • may improve insulin resistance
  • no detectable lactose

Applications:

NutriVie™ 3618

Nutrivie™ 3618 is a concentrated fat source, containing 62-65% vegetable oil from corn oil. It is a rich source of MUFA’s (from oleic acid) and PUFA’s (from linoleic acid).

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • high in MUFAs at 21%
  • high in PUFAs at 38%
  • low in saturated fat (<10%)
  • helps support heart health by lowering LDL-C when used to replace SFA and trans fat
  • corn oil holds a USFDA qualified health claim for heart disease risk reduction

Applications:

NutriVie™ 50CL

Nutrvie™ 50CL contains 50% vegetable oil, from sunflower and soy oil. It is high in oleic acid – making up 70% of the fatty acid profile.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • high MUFA content at 35%
  • low in saturated fat (<10%)
  • helps support heart health by lowering LDL-C when used to replace SFA and trans fat
  • may improve insulin resistance
  • suitable for lactose-free formulas

Applications:

Nutrivie™ 2174

Nutrivie™ 2174 contains 48-50% vegetable oil, from sunflower oil. It is high in oleic acid—making up 86% of the fatty acid profile.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • high MUFA content at 40%
  • low in saturated fat (<10%)
  • helps support heart health by lowering LDL-C when used to replace SFA and trans fat

Applications:

NutriVie™ Omega 002

Nutrivie™ Omega 002 is a concentrated fat source, containing 50%% vegetable oil. It is high in oleic acid at 61% and contains an optimal omega 3 to omega 6 ratio of 1:2.

Potential nutritional benefits:

  • high in MUFAs at 29%
  • low in saturated fat (5%)
  • low in trans-fat (<1%)
  • no detectable lactose

Applications:

NutriVie™ HiSun

Nutrivie™ HiSun is a highly concentrated lipid, containing 70% oil. It is high in MUFA’s and low in saturates.

  • low in saturated fat (5%)

The Nutrivie™ range includes nutritional bases containing Kerry’s customised lipids with added vitamins and minerals. We have a range of nutritional bases to meet the varying nutritional needs of all life stages, from infants and toddlers to seniors. Our nutritional bases have a range of application doses and can be fully customised by lipid source, nutritional specification, labeling and functionality to meet your particular needs.

  • NutriVie IMF Base is a free flowing powder designed as a base for infant and growing up milks, providing a key source of protein, carbohydrate, GOS and minerals.
  • NutriVie LP 100 Base is a free flowing vegetable oil powder, suitable for use in infant formula when used in combination with other approved ingredients to meet the relevant country food regulations.
  • NutriVie LP 100 OPO Base is a free flowing vegetable oil powder, suitable for use in infant formula and growing up milks when used in combination with other approved ingredients to meet the relevant country food regulations. It contains a modified oil blend to mimic human milk fat.
