The coffee story

Coffee is said to have been discovered by a goat herder who noticed his goats became extremely energetic after eating certain berries. While coffee is native to Ethiopia and Sudan, the earliest credible evidence of coffee drinking appears in 15th century Sufi shrines of southern Arabia, now Yemen. This marks the first-time coffee seeds were known to be roasted and brewed in a manner similar to how coffee is currently prepared and consumed. Today, coffee is the most popular beverage worldwide, with more two billion cups consumed every day.
