OREO® Hot Chocolate named finalist in Best New Product contest

OREO® Hot Chocolate, a Kerry Convenience product, is a finalist in a Best New Product contest hosted by Convenience Store Products (CSP) magazine.

Convenience channel retailers can vote now through Sept. 9 to determine the winner of the CSP Magazine’s 2016 Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest. OREO Hot Chocolate is a finalist in the Dispensed Beverages category.

The OREO Hot Chocolate beverage was launched in January, a hot drink flavoured with the iconic cookie loved by generations. Kerry Convenience used its understanding of c-store equipment, product development and consumer taste preferences to build a beverage that wins in the market.

“We are excited to have developed and exclusively offer OREO Hot Chocolate to the c-store channel,” said Sharon Porter, Director of Marketing for Kerry Convenience. “OREO Hot Chocolate generates category excitement and cross category promotional opportunities to drive new customers to the specialty coffee category, as well as increased sales and profits across multiple store categories for c-store operators.”

Retailers may vote for the winners by tweeting submissions using #cspnpc2016. Additionally, retailers can fill out a voting form until the deadline. The product with the most votes will be named Best New Product.

All finalists are listed in the October issue of CSP Magazine in a special section highlighting the 2016 CSP Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest. CSP is a publication for both chain and independent retailers, focused on c-store issues and industry news.
